As an owner of a restored 1929 Ford Model A and currently restoring (in addition to my 1949 Cub) a 1945 military Jeep, I fully understand the importance of saving for future generation these vintage machines. It's sad to think we continue to lose many of these old vehicles every year because there owners are people who don't know, or even worse, don't care about their value to history.

I own a 1949 Framall Cub that my father bought new. In the fall I intend to start restoring the tractor. My father purchased the tractor to pull hay wagons into our barn and for mowing hay and garden work. The tractor has a sickle bar, cultivators, and plows. Any feedback on restoration would be appreciated.

I have a1949 cub that I use weekly to mow.have had it about 20 yrs It has a 59'' Woods belly mount mower. It was very good shape when I got it all it needed was repainted. About 10 yrs ago it was getting a little tired and was loosing power and was smoking a bit. So since this is a using tractor I had the motor remand . Very nice tractor

Dad bought my 48 cub in 1965 we still use it to cultivate and fertilize sweet corn. I have a photo of myself on this tractor at 8 years old as well as my youngest son on the tractor at 8 years old as well. It's pretty special to us.
