1950 Cub Demonstrator

Josh Says:

These are pics of my current project (50 demo). The tractor is all back together now and in primer (no pics yet) other than the front.  It didn't run when I bought it.  Now it does and should be done by the first of the year.

The demo's name is Tony.  I named it after my uncle that just passed away. I named it after him because he had white hair and beard and you could look for years and never find another like him.

Well the serial number puts it in range to be a demonstrator.

Here we see it prior to being disassembled.  The demo white is peeking through all over the place.

Uh-oh, the hood is off.  That can mean one thing.  Might as well perform every bit of maintenance now before you go through the reassembly process.

It aint snowin' in July, that's more red coming off.  Hmmm...does that ammeter work?

A lot of stuff to clean, sand, scrape and paint.  Why do we get ourselves into these things?

You gotta keep that crank some where.  And that's as good as any for now.

A lot of fancy footwork on these pedals really took the red off.
